Meet Pete, a United States Navy veteran who served from 1986-1995. Pete was an aircraft mechanic and served in the Gulf War, an armed campaign waged by a 35-country military coalition in response to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.
Pete has been with us since 2010. We are honored to have veterans on our amazing team here at Mark Miller Subaru! Leading up to Veterans Day, we will be highlighting our veterans here at Mark Miller Subaru!
A Special Thanks to an Air Force Veteran at Mark Miller Subaru
Meet Dave, a United States Air Force veteran who served for over 20 years, from 1968-1990. Dave served in the Vietnam War and eventually retired as a First Sergeant. He earned the Meritorious Service Medal three times, an accolade awarded to a member of the armed forces who distinguishes themselves by either outstanding achievement or meritorious service to the United States. One of Dave’s first responsibilities after enlisting was to copy morse code, saying it was one of the most nerve-racking things he has ever done because one miscoding could have cost many lives.
Dave has been with us since 2006 and has built a following of very loyal customers over the years. We are honored to have veterans on our amazing team here at Mark Miller Subaru! Leading up to Veterans Day, we will be highlighting our veterans here at Mark Miller Subaru!

Meet Pat, a United States Army National Guard veteran who served from 1987-1993. Pat worked in the infantry in a mortar platoon during his service.
Pat started with Mark Miller Subaru this year. We are honored to have veterans on our amazing team here at Mark Miller Subaru!

Meet Gail, a United States Army veteran who served from 1977-1988. Gail served as a stevedore, the military members responsible for loading and unloading ships, trains, planes and military vehicles. Stevedore operations were established by the Army to provide movement of supplies through ports in support of the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I.

Meet Anthony, a United States Marines veteran who served from 2000-2004. Anthony served deployments in Kuwait and Iraq, and served in the Iraqi War after 9/11, as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Anthony started at Mark Miller Subaru in 2004, after his four years of active duty as a Maine. We are honored to have veterans on our amazing team here at Mark Miller Subaru! Leading up to Veterans Day, we will be highlighting our veterans here at Mark Miller Subaru!

Meet Ricky; Ricky is a United States Marines veteran who served six years in the infantry unit. Like so many, he wasn’t sure what to do after high school, so he enlisted to serve his country. Ricky spent time in Okinawa and South Korea during his time in the Marines. “The Marines aren’t for everyone,” Ricky said with a smile.

We support you on and off the road with the Subaru Military Discount Program and are proud to offer a special discount to active-duty and reserve members of the six branches of the United States Military as well as the National Guard. Eligible branches include:

This Discount Program is also available to veterans and retirees within 12 months of your date of separation from the military. It is also available to a spouse or domestic partner of an eligible participant residing in the same household.
